4 Million Square Foot Retail Development, 2007
How can 4 million square foot retail development be transformed into a global address? How can a super mall draw consumers from a 50 mile radius and profitably withstand competition in a saturated market?
Award winning design firm GENSLER asked KLINGMANN Architects to devise a design concept that would transform four million square feet of retail development into a global address. In addition to creating a distinctive identity for the development, KLINGMANN Architects worked with GENSLER to design a 21st century shopping destination that would capture a wide spectrum of target markets.
Services included analysis of RFP, analysis of market trends, feasibility study, overall design concept based on market research, design of master plan, massing, and landscaping, design of retail spaces, client presentations in print and powerpoint.
